    Rainbow Falls

Heading up the gorge at Watkins Glen State Park, I was still amazed at the scenery and the great photo opportunities that came upon me.  Here is Rainbow Falls.  It is a famous scene that a lot of tourism brochures used and actually encouraged me to visit!  I like how there is a little shelter on the left for people that do not want to get wet as the walk under the falls!

    Cavern Cascade Pathway

As I said in my previous blog post, Cavern Cascade is a waterfall that you can walk under to get to the next level of the gorge. It's quite cool to walk under a huge volume of water falling right over your head.  The stairs in the foreground spiral up through a manmade opening which is quite the feat!

    Cavern Cascade

This is the first amazing waterfall at the Watkins Glen State Park.  It is called Cavern Cascade and to get up to next level of waterfalls you have to walk behind the waterfall.  It is a 60 foot plunging impressive waterfall!

    Watkins Glen Canyon

Well first off it's my birthday! I'm 28 years old now. Holy Crap!

I recently visited the Watkins Glen canyon while on my stay out East.  I always thought Watkins Glen as the place for crazy endurance car racing from my days playing car racing video games.  What I did not know is that Watkins Glen State Park in New York State was a big tourist attraction too.  The canyon is a 400 ft drop and has some amazing waterfalls. In this picture you can see the scale of the canyon with the people climbing up the stairs! Over the past couple days I will post some of my keepers from the trip!

    Penn State Lushness

As of today I have been in Pennsylvania for over a week now.  I just can't get over the forests, the countryside, and the lushness all over the state.  I just can't wait to move here in June.  It will be a great new adventure that I will share with my wife-to-be!  After work, I found a nice looking creek flowing through a forest. Lots of greenery!

    Morning Sunrise before Fraccing

A new wellsite, a new picture.  I am amazed at the Pennsylvanian countryside. So lush and green.  There are some great sunrises that I can catch before the start of fraccing.
