    Wind Turbines on Armenia Mountain

Right along our wellsites, there is an extensive wind farm on top of Armenia Mountain in Northern Pennsylvania.  I watched for hours during our frac jobs how these turbines seems to have a life of their own.  If there was no wind in one direction, they would rotate towards the wind.  Such majestic creations of engineering. Wind Farming

I drove along the backroads of Pennsylvania yesterday to see much more of the beauty here.  I realize that the Marcellus shale gas play is a huge industry evolving here, but I was shocked to see so many windmills in the area.  I am all for renewable energy, but a part of me cannot get over the amount of windmills to get the equivalent power of gas fired power plant.  I hope I see more windmills popping up, but with the abundant supply of shale gas I wish to see some synergies in the future.
