Sunday, July 24, 2011 at 9:37 PM I do wish I had a z-pro filter holder to use a polarizer, but I guess I will have to wait until the fall when Cokin gets back into business.

Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 8:48 AM I was recently back to Calgary with my wife and with new addition to my family Olivia. I tried my first tilt shift panorama with the Canon TS-E 24mm L II lens. This technique was inspired by Darwin Wiggett, who has taught me some amazing landscape photography techniques. I adjusted the tilt of the lens to get the most DOF and then took two exposures shifted up and down. Merged together in Adobe Photoshop Photomerge.
Thursday, June 3, 2010 at 1:05 PM Well today marks a new chapter for the lives of my wife and I as we embark on our new adventure in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. For the last week we have been living out of a hotel in downtown Calgary and have seen some crappy May snowfalls that I will not miss at all. Here is a panorama HDR shot from my hotel room.
