    The Road to Autumn

When travelling home to Pittsburgh I noticed this road erupting in color.  The sun from above made the fall leaves glow.  I think it was a good idea I decided to pullover get on the road and take this shot.

    The Three Autumn Amigos

On a recent trip to see the amazing fall colours of Pennsylvania, we stopped at a great restaurant called Out of the Fire Cafe in Donegal, PA.  They have great smoked salmon entrees and amazing wild mushroom soup.  I noticed these three trees by the parking lot and I couldn't help but feel lucky with the find.  The fir, maple and the gnarled oak show the reality of autumn.  Some stay green, some show brilliant colours and some just turn out to look gnarly!

    Diagonal Cascade

Maybe I am boring you with the recent waterfall posts, so this is the last one. 7 images blended together with Nik HDR Efex Pro (I love it!). I used a polarizer to pop the colors and cut the glare on the water. No saturation kick in Photoshop needed!

    Close and Closer...

Here are two perspectives from a waterfall cascade that I found in Northern Pennslyvania.  I was knee deep in water to get a good view, but I sure think it was worth it. Its called Miners Run Falls and its located in Loyalsock State Forest
